A Supermarket in California (1998) is a set of three songs on poems (including the prose poem "A Supermarket in California") by Allen Ginsberg, inspired and commissioned by the tenor Todd Frizzell. These poems give a small taste of the humor, irony, and power of this great poet American beat poet.
